I. Overview
The automatic fire protection system of the oil depot is composed of fire operation station, PLC control station, on-site manual button and fire pump valve, etc. It adopts the method of centralized monitoring, alarm and control of process parameters. The central control room and the fire duty room are synchronously monitored. When a fire occurs, the scene and the duty room are synchronously alarmed. The signals are directly taken from the digital input/output relays in the PLC system.
2. Features
Automatic alarm: When the concentration of combustible gas reaches the alarm value, the system will automatically alarm.
Manual alarm: When a fire is found in the tank farm, the nearby manual button will alarm.
Sprinkler control: fire pump and corresponding fire water valve of pipeline and tank are automatically extinguished and sprayed.
Dynamic display: dynamic monitoring of firefighting process.
Field equipment monitoring: pump and valve status monitoring, sensor data monitoring, etc.;
Operation and alarm records: system operation and alarm records are archived and stored.
Authority management: Engineers and operators operate at different levels.
Trend record: historical trend and implementation trend archive record of field instruments.
